National Honor Society Members –
Music Department – The concert bank and the mixed chorus received “excellent” ratings at the music contest. “Superiors” received by four duets consisting of Tricia Klemke and Trish Laeger, Bill Dillon and Tricia Turek, Brenda Reifschneider and Laura Specht, Leeann Bruns and Tricia Klemke.
Drama and One Acts –
Football – Coach John Stanton and the Bobcats ended their third consecutive winning season and Class C-2 Playoff berth with a 5-4 record.
Volleyball – A 10-9 record completes the year for Coach Barb Zurn and her girls.
Cross Country –
Girls Basketball – With a 19-2 record marks the team’s eighth consecutive winning season under Coach John Stanton’s leadership. 122 wins, 39 losses since 1979-80.
Boys Basketball – The fifth winning season in a row, under Coach Tim Lanik, with a 12-7 record.
Wrestling – Coach Ed “Murph” Planansky witnessed the team’s finishing results as champions at the Hyannis Invitational and runner-up at Hemingford’s Invitational.
Girls Track and Field – Coach Barb Zurn was part of three records set by Tricia Klemke, Jennifer Lilley, and the relay team Danette Jespersen, Cara Lohmeyer, Kim Turek, and Tricia Turek.
Boys Track and Field – Coach Tim Lanik and his young team were not successful in wins but the foundation was laid for a stronger team in the years to come.

Homecoming Royalty – Football Homecoming – King Jake Clark, Queen Trish Turek, royal court John Cullan, Dan Pianolto, Jill Hooper, and Trish Laeger. The second annual Activities Homecoming King Mike Raben, Queen Trish Laeger, royalty John Cullan, Pete Jensen, Tricia Klemke, and Deb Specht.
Prom Royalty – Kim Jake Clark, Queen Tricia Turek, junior attendants Chris Baer, Angie Kotschwar, sophomore attendants Todd Turek, Jennifer Walters, freshmen attendants Joe Planansky, Laura Montague.
