Story image 1_0

Hemingford Foundation - Elliot Family Scholarship applications may be found below by clicking on that link, or picked up in person at the following locations:

  • Mrs. Gilkerson's Guidance Office
  • Mrs. Hanson's High School Main Office

The foundation sponsors scholarships for students attending almost any college or university and can award money to graduate students as well. Up to five separate annual awards are possible for any one student. (one per year)

It is never too early to apply, and applicants that completely and neatly fill out an application are rarely refused aid.

Parents - this is an extremely valuable source of financial support. The Foundation really needs more applicants. The two basic requirements for eligibility are:

  1. Applicant must be a graduate of Hemingford High School
  2. Applicant must be a full-time college student

Click on the link below for an application form - send it to Hemingford Public Schools, c/o Mrs. Sam Gilkerson, P.O. Box 217, Hemingford, NE 69348 or email it to sgilkerson@gubn.org.

College Freshmen who have successfully completed their first semester may apply on or before January 2nd to receive a scholarship for their second semester.

Students who have completed their first full year of college may apply on or before July 1st to receive scholarship funds for the following academic year.

NOTE: Please download the application form before you fill it out. You will then be able to save the file to print or email.
