Hemingford Artists are "De-Duck-table"
Students Place Highly in Annual Contest
Mrs. Marla Wade, Hemingford Public Schools Art Instructor reported that several HHS students had work honored in this year’s Congressional District Three Nebraska Duck Stamp Contest . Winning first places were Colt Foster and Cash Weber; Second Place went to Matthew Wood; Third Place awards went to Amelia Ludlow and Sandra Mendiola; and Honorable Mention accords went to Hannah Fessler, Makayla grumbles, and Tanner Lembke.
In addition to the Award Winners from Hemingford in the contest that featured over 600 entries from across much of the state of Nebraska (the 3rd Congressional District), other Hemingford drawings placed in the top fifty overall: Asa Carlson, Layne Huss, Cole Connor, TJ Starman, Danny Manning, PK Campbell, Aubrey Picket Pin, Cali Rohrbouck, Carolina Carlson and Kate Casey all had work that finished highly in their respective grade based classes.
