Hemingford FFA Places First at District Welding Competition

On Friday, January 7th the Hemingford FFA competed in two district competitions in Scottsbluff, NE. The welding team consisting of Avery Davies (TIG), Hunter Wyland (Gas), Hayden McDonald (MIG), and Ethan Specht (ARC) placed first with a score of 699 points. Individually Hayden and Avery both placed third and Hunter and Ethan both tied for second in their areas.
The livestock management team consisting of Catherine Bryner, Lilly Hasenauer-Brown, Lauren Garner, Brooklynn Warner, and Savanna Hickman placed 11th out of 18 teams.
The next round of competitions for the chapter will be on February 2nd in Gordon Nebraska.
