Hemingford High School has just received notification that Sandra Mendioa has joined an elite group of National Merit Finalists. Sandra now is part of a group of outstanding students that are being considered for the National Merit Scholarships. The selection of some 8,400 winners from the group of more than 15, 000 Finalists is now in progress. In March, Sandra will be notified if she will be one of the scholarship winners.
Sandra is the daughter of Jose and Genoveva Mendiola of Hemingford.
