WHITE TEAM RESULTS

The Morrill Lions came out strong against our white team.  Their defense kept our offense in the first half to 5 points.  While they attacked our defense and scored 13 points. In the second half, we kept trading baskets and scored the same amount of points.  The girls did a good job of staying in the game against one of the better teams we've seen this year.

Coach Janssen was proud of their effort.

Quarters: 2-9, 3-4, 7-10, 5-2  Final score was 17-25, the White team's first loss of the season.

RED TEAM RESULTS

The red team ran a fast paced game against the Lions.  The girls started in man coverage and then switched to a zone.  They kept the Lions out of the paint, which limited their shots.  The girls are doing a better job of rebounding every game.  The coaches are really impressed with the teamwork displayed by the girls.  It is awesome to see the passes and shots taken.

Way to work hard and as a team every game!

Quarters: 12-4, 6-2, 9-0, 9-2  Final 36-8 The Red team remains undefeated on the season!
