Hemingford Hosts VB Tourney Saturday

The Lady Cat Volleyball team is working hard this Fall, with good numbers of underclassmen helping fill in with a small number of Seniors and Juniors. They have played with energy against many of their early season opponents, but have found the going tough, losing matches to Banner County, Kimball, Gordon-Rushville, Mitchell, and Hay Springs.

The girls will travel to undefeated Edgemont on Thursday the 15th, before returning home to try to find a winning combination on Saturday, September 17th. Injuries to several players, while allowing many players to get into games, have affected consistency.

Teams coming to Hemingford Saturday include Hyannis, Hay Springs, Hemingford, morrill, Minatare, and Sioux County. Pool play goes throughout the morning and early afternoon, before the winners face off.
