2009 Dime Carnival is a Hit

Even though the temperatures outside plummeted, the fun and excitement skyrocketed as the elementary students entered into two rooms of sheer enjoyment. The sounds of basketballs swishing through the hoops and the cheers of the sixth grade class echoed in the building.
Some students tried their hands at the bean bag toss, bowling, and the muffin tin throw while others played tic tac toe, plinko, ring toss, fishing, and the duck pond. As you looked around the rooms, you could see the students eating cookies from the cookie walk, tattooed faces, and pairs of children comparing prizes.Thirty minutes went by way too quickly as one class left and another entered the west modular. A general agreement by the sixth grade class was that it was a great day of fun, but it was also very exhausting.
The sixth grade class will use the proceeds from the dime carnival to help defray the cost for their field trip to Lincoln this spring. They would like to thank everyone for attending.
