This article is the same as one that is being sent home to Parents of our elementary students.

At times there are elementary students that stay after school and play on the school grounds without parental supervision. School supervision is provided throughout the school day, but not afterwards.

Elementary school hours are from 8:15 a.m. – 3:18 p.m. The school district provides supervision from 7:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on days when classes are held. All children are expected to leave the school grounds by 3:30 p.m. There will be no school supervision after 3:30 p.m. on any area of the school grounds including the playground. 

The school will not be responsible for any injuries that may occur after this time. Please make prior arrangements if you have younger children waiting for older siblings to finish their athletic practice. Your child’s safety is our number one concern.

For parents of older students, such as those in junior high or senior high, supervision is provided with our activity clubs and sports practices. Any and all students that are not being supervised by school personnel need to gather their homework and head for home right after school.
