Lady Cats win Hemingford Invitational Volleyball Tourney!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerHemingford's Lady Cat volleyball team has experienced some solid success in the past two weeks, beating the Lady Moguls of Edgemont in four sets, before going undefeated in their own tourney, Saturday, September 16th, winning in straight sets over Morrill, Hyannis, and the Alliance Junior Varsity.
Traveling to Mitchell, Coach Lisa Janssen's netters lost to 7-4 Gordon-Rushville for the third time this season, and for a second time to Mitchell, an 8-2 squad, but beat Minatare to run their record to 6-7, an improvement over the past few seasons.
On Tuesday night, September 23rd, the Lady Cats will host Bridgeport and Bayard for a Varsity triangular, beginning at 5PM. The schedule continues with another home match next week, when Creek Valley come calling for a Freshman/JuniorVarsity/Varsity match in Hemingford, starting at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, October 3rd.
