Michelle Hoxworth

Speech/Language Pathologist

In August 2017, I returned to my position at Hemingford Public Schools.  I previously worked at Hemingford from 1999-2001.  I am thrilled to be back.  Hemingford Public Schools is a great school district.  

I am a native of Alliance, growing up in Alliance and graduating from Alliance High in 1992.  I attended the University of Northern Iowa, receiving my Bachelor's of Arts in Communicative Disorders in 1996.  In 1998, I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, receiving a Master's of Science in Speech Pathology.  I worked in Sterling, Colorado for one year following receipt of my Master's degree.  In 2001, I began working for Alliance Public Schools.  I remained in that position for 16 years before the opportunity to return to Hemingford became available.  It felt like home to return and now I am in my second year of return!

I am married to Troy.  I have a son, Jaxon, 16, and 2 step children, Haley, 18, and Cole, 14.  We make our home in Alliance and enjoy sports, travel, and our home and property at Lake Minatare.
