State FFA convention results
The Hemingford FFA chapter competed at the State FFA Convention April 4 – 7 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The meats team consisted of Jayce Meyring, Jace Stumpff, Emily Knote, and Jacko Payne was coached to a seventh-place finish by local business owners Clayton and Taelar Krause of Table Top Meats. The livestock management team consisting of Isaiah Bryner, Jacobi Stumpff, Emily Knote, Jace Stumpff and Jayce Meyring brought home a plaque for scoring second place in the beef division and scored tenth place overall as a team. Jacobi Stumpff competed in the employment skills competition and earned a silver medal. Luke Cullan, Cade Payne, Dali Del Toro, and Storm Jespersen competed in the agronomy competition early Thursday morning placing 43 out of 105 teams. The welding team consisting of Wiley Rudloff, James Jacob, and Zach Rozmiarek placed 22 out of 60 teams. The farm/ranch management team consisting of Isaiah Bryner, Luke Cullan, Storm Jespersen, and Shaylynn McConville placed 31st out of 87 teams with Isaiah Bryner placing seventh in the individual ranking.
