Welcome! Just a note to introduce myself to those who may not know me. I am currently the 7-12 Resource teacher as well as a facilitator of the GradPoint computerized program. I have taught in Hemingford since August of 2001 and and was originally hired as a 5-8 Resource teacher. As a result of restructuring positions within the school district, I became the high school resource teacher in 2005. I graduated from Colorado State University in 1981 with a degree in social work. In the fall of 1997, I decided to change careers and enrolled at Chadron State College, majoring in education. In May of 2000, I graduated from Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education K - 8 and a special education endorsement K - 12. My husband, Tim, and I call Hemingford our home. Between us, we have eight children and fourteen grandchildren. Holidays are busy! We recently purchased a camper, so our summers will be spent touring the countryside and visiting friends and family. There you have it in a nutshell. I am blessed to be working at one of the best schools with some of the best students and parents, and living in a caring community. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
