My husband, Dave, and I have three children. Micki is a senior at the University of Wyoming and will graduate in May of 2008. Briana will be a sophomore at UW, and Heston will be a junior here at Hemingford High School.
I was raised in Eastern Oregon and met Dave while working in Nevada. We moved here 11 years ago in December and ranch 20 miles north of Hemingford.
I work as a teacher's aide at Cottonwood School and got my sub-certificate last year so now I am able to sub at Cottonwood and Hemingford. I enjoy doing this as a change of pace. My duties at Cottonwood are mainly to help with the GREAT students in their daily work. I also teach them art which I love. Last year they made pillow quilts for their parents and did a fantastic job, so this year I have plans to have them make bed sized pieced quilts that they will machine quilt themselves. I am looking forward to seeing what fabrics and patterns that they will choose.
