Hello! My name is Kassy Broadway and I am the aide for the 3rd grade class this year. I have been a substitute aide here for the last two years. I really have enjoyed working with the 3rd grade and look forward to being here full time this year.
I have been married for 30 years to Sonny and we have 2 wonderful boys. Travis is our oldest at 26 and is currently stationed in Manistee, Michigan with the U.S. Coast Guard. Our youngest is Beau, 16, will be a junior at Hemingford this year. Sonny is employed with John Deere in Alliance.
I was born in Riverton, Wyoming but was raised most of my life in Alabama. Sonny joined the Air Force in 1980 and we spent 12 years traveling with the service, including 3 years in Germany. After the Air Force we moved to Arthur, Ne and that is where we fell in love with Nebraska. Currently we live 12 miles north of Hemingford close to Box Butte Reservoir so in our spare time we enjoy spending time on the lake.
