Mandy Plog
To all my good friends and family who Google information about me on the internet, Hello! To all others who may not know me, my name is Mandy Plog, and I am currently the Special Education Director for Hemingford Public Schools. I also teach School-to-Work to Hemingford Seniors. I have been at Hemingford since the Fall of 1996.
I grew up in Oshkosh, Nebraska and graduated from Garden County High School in May of 1991. I attended Chadron State College, majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in May of 1996. I began teaching special education through Educational Service Unit #12 located at that time in Alliance. They placed me full time at Hemingford High School. I taught 7th - 12th grades Special Education. The next year, Hemingford hired me directly to teach special education and a School-to-Work class to regular education Seniors. In May of 2003, I graduated with my Master's in Administration from Chadron State College. In the Fall of 2004, I began working as Special Education Director in addition to teaching. Beginning 2005-2006, I became Special Education Director full time.
I enjoy spending time with the three cutest little boys in the world, Mark who is six years old and starting Kindergarten this Fall, Alex who is four, and Ethan who is two. My husband, Scott, works at Todd's Body Shop in Alliance. I also enjoy reading and traveling.
