Education
I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education.
Teaching Experience
I have taught in Hemingford from 1978 to the present.
Present Assignment
I am the Title 1 Reading and Math teacher for students in K-6 and the SAT (Student Assistance Team) leader.
Family
I was born in Alliance, Nebraska and lived in Mullen, Nebraska until age 7. At that time, I moved to Alliance with my family. I graduated from Alliance High School in 1974 and attended UN-L from 1974-1978. My employment with Hemingford Public Schools began in August of 1978. I married Steve Engelhaupt in 1979. We are the parents of two children.
Hobbies and Interests
My hobbies and interests have all been centered on my family. I very much enjoyed attending any function or activity my children were involved in. I also enjoy working in the yard and traveling.
Goal for Students
The goal for my students is to help them enjoy learning and become resourceful, respectful, and responsible students.
