Morrill Invite CHAMPIONS!

Hemingford Junior High Wrestlers Place First at Morrill Invite
The Hemingford Junior High Wrestlers put on a stellar performance last Friday when they swept by the competition and came out the champions at the Morrill Junior High Wrestling Invite. Austin Huddle, Kage Jespersen, Jamey Wood, Tarin Jespersen, Denton Payne and Beau Edwards led the team to victory with first place finishes in their weight classes.
They were closely followed by Miles Davis who placed second, Conner Swanson who placed third and David Berg and Ezra Ray who placed forth. All ten wrestlers from Hemingford placed in their individual weight classes which led to the first place finish.
As a team our win / loss record for this tournament was 26 and 5. The last outing for the Hemingford squad will be Tuesday November 27, 2012 when they compete in the Bayard Junior High Wrestling Tournament at Bayard. Wrestling Starts at 9:15 AM.
