Frost's Frolics

By Frost, Shari

Hi, my name is Mrs. Shari Frost and I am the new Preschool teacher.  I earned my degree from Kearney State College in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Handicapped Education in 1983.  I taught rural school in Ashby for 3 years before our children Jacob and Bryan were born.  I taught K-2nd grades in rural schools in Custer County for 13 years with 10 being at Oconto Elementary School.  The past 8 years I have taught Migrant Preschool Education in Lexington Public Schools.

I grew up at Eddyville, Nebraska on a dairy/cattle farm.  I love being outside in my garden and love to hike, camp and especially love to sew and quilt.  I play the piano and enjoy singing.

I was widowed in February which prompted a move to be near my son Jacob and his wife Ammie and their son, Zane, my first grandchild.  I love watching Zane grow and change every day!  Jacob is an agronomist at Farmer’s COOP and Ammie is one of the Kindergarten teachers.

My second son, Bryan, is a Senior at UNK and will graduate in May.

I love watching little ones grow and change and see how quickly they learn.  I love to laugh with them and explore their worlds in the everyday things that are all around us.  Please come visit us!

I can be reached at the school at 487-3330 or by email at sfrost@panesu.org.

I am looking forward to meeting new friends and am enjoying my new community!
