Syllabus – English 7

2009-2010 Hemingford High School

 

Class Rules (In addition to the “Student Conduct” rules printed in the 2009-2010 Student/Parent Handbook p. 24-31)

 

1.                  Be on time and in seat when the bell rings

2.                  Be Prepared – bring all necessary materials to class every day

3.                  Be Honest – We may never recover from a lie

4.                  Be Responsible – I reserve the right to refuse any late work you have not cleared with me in advance

5.                  Have respect for others and for your surroundings

6.                  Keep your hands and feet to yourself

7.                  No soda or food allowed

8.                  Show respect if you expect respect in return

 

Quizzes, Tests, Essays

1.                  Cheating is not acceptable and will result in a zero for a grade

2.                  Tests and quizzes are to be taken in complete silence, if you talk during a quiz or test you will receive a zero for a grade

3.                  Any form of plagiarism will result in a grade of zero

 

Required Materials

1.      Three-ring binder with 5 dividers and ample supply of loose-leaf paper

2.      Ample supply of pencils and BLUE or BLACK ink pens (no other colors allowed)
