Kelly's Info

Welcome to all -
In reviewing the previous information submitted, I realized that I have not remained current in reporting the happenings of my family. As I get older, I'm beginning to see how life is never constant - no matter how hard we try to keep it that way!
My husband, Terry, continues with the challenges of Parkinson's; however, we have learned to deal with it. Dustin and Devin are both attending college - one in Washington, DC and one in Lincoln, NE.
I am continuing as the 7-12 resource teacher, which I have enjoyed tremendously. This year I hope to focus more on the individual needs of my students and provide them with skills and concepts that can be used in a variety of settings. Get ready for a fun and exciting year!
In addition to teaching, I have added a couple of extra duties. I will be chaperoning the 2006-2007 Junior class on their World Strides trip in March. I have been spending quite a bit of time with these students during the various fund raisers over the summer. What a neat experience. I am also one of the Sophomore class sponsors, along with Mr. Robinson. Finally, after helping out in the Spring musical last year, I signed on to be an assistant director for the one-act plays and the three-act plays. I have a feeling, I will be busy. As long as I'm working with students, it's okay with me!
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me through e-mail (I'm am getting much better at checking this on a regular basis) or by phone. I am looking forward to a wonderful year. Welcome back.
