Watermelon Day
Kindergarten had
hoped to cool off with a Watermelon Day on Friday, but instead we
were trying to keep warm. A rainy first couple days is a
first for this teacher.
We spent the day
estimating, then weighing and measuring our watermelons. We
read watermelon books and painted watermelons; culminating with, of
course, eating watermelon!!

Swimming 2008
After the rains on the original first day, Hemingford Physical Education students still got their 3 days of swimming in. 1st - 6th, and 9th graders enjoyed the swimming pool on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
