CATS CONTINUE STATE PLAY-OFFS AT CURTIS

After a first round (22-14) State Football victory over Overton, our Bobcat Football team will be headed to Curtis, NE, 45 minutes south of North Platte, for a 4PM (CT) second round game at unbeaten Medicine Valley (9-0).

Our opponent will be the Medicine Valley Raiders, a team that HHS sees at District Wrestling most every year. Both teams own victories over Sutherland and Dundy County/Stratton, the only common opponents. MV beat Sutherland (45-0) HHS beat the Sailors (51-6). Hemingford beat DC/S (40-28), while Medicine Valley won their DC/S contest (47-22).
NSAA POWER POINT RANKINGS

Hemingford has played two top level teams (South Loup (9-0), and Perkins County (7-2), while Medicine Valley has played none. Each team has played five mid-Level teams (as ranked by the NSAA Power points) HHS played Crawford, Ainsworth, Overton (twice), and Dundy County/Stratton, while Medicine Valley played Wallace, Dundy County/Stratton, Southwest, and Cambridge (twice). Both teams beat teams for the second time this season in their first round play-off game, as noted above.
FAN BUS

HHS will be sending one fan bus to Curtis, with a loading time from the front of the school at 8:30 AM Wednesday, with an 11PM tentative return time Wednesday evening. Adults, students, and cheerleaders will ride together. Cost for non-cheerleaders is $10.

Game time is set for 4PM Central Time, with a 4-5 hour drive to Curtis. The NSAA sets prices for play-off games, with Adults paying $7, Students $5. Only special NSAA passes will be accepted for this game and any other play-off games.
