HHS FFA TEAMS ARE DISTRICT CHAMPIONS !
Great Job At Kimball!
The Hemingford FFA Agronomy and Agri-science teams placed first at a recent competition held in Kimball. In the Agronomy contest Jacobi Stumpff, Tarin Jespersen, Connor Swanson and Beau Edwards pulled off a narrow victory over the team from Minatare with a seven point lead.
The Agri-science team consisting of Jace Stumpff, Isaiah Bryner, Kaitlyn Fritzler and Storm Jespersen pulled off a first place finish with a commanding lead over the second place team from Leyton. This is the first time our chapter has ever fielded an Agriscience team and it was a great showing for our team members.
Other members competing were Elijah Walters and Shaylynn McConville in Agri-science as well as Anna Manning, Syd Riggs, Miles Davis and Luke Cullan in meats judging.
This competition closed out the district twelve contests and the members will now go on to compete in the state competition at the state convention in Lincoln on April fifth through the seventh.
