FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Hemingford Scholarship Program Successful Since 1987
2016 HEMINGFORD SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Eleven deserving graduates of Hemingford High School were the latest in a long line of HHS alumni to benefit from the Hemingford-Elliott Scholarship Foundation, when they were awarded Fall under-graduate or Post Graduate scholarships this week.
Award winners included: Makayla Grumbles, Kaitlyn Jespersen, Blake Hansen, Anna Hughart, Kyle Kaman, Rachel Kaman, Tylor King, Christian Rozmiarek, Joseph Rozmiarek, Taylor Starman, and Matthew Wood. The individual scholarship amounts ranged from $3,072 to $4,608. The awards totaled $40,000 Checks will soon be sent to colleges and Universities that the students will be attending in 2016-2017, one half each semester.
This outstanding program that began in 1987 has provided college support for the past twenty-nine years for graduates of Hemingford High School, including students that advance on to graduate degrees by awarding 346 scholarships since 1987, totaling $892,290, almost a million dollars so far to help our students continue their educations!
