WHOA NELLY, CATS DELIVER IN LINCOLN
====================================
Hemingford's Football team delivered on a promise it made to itself in 2013 in a BIG way today in Lincoln, running past (11-1) Bruning - Davenport - Shickley 52-8 at M...emorial Stadium.
Paced by two long touchdowns by Brady Turek and outstanding running by Ethan Skinner the Cats scored almost at will. The Cat defense, buoyed by a first period shutdown of a BDS First and Goal at the HHS two yard-line set the tone for the remainder of the game. Colt Foster, Matt Davis, Denton Payne, and Jamie Wood among others continually brought Eagle runners down in their own backfield.

Cat Nation has reason to celebrate following the long road back to Lincoln in 2014, following a (12-1) 2013 season that ended one win short of gold.
Gold is now in fashion at HHS, with the first team State Championship in school history. HHS and Coach Jordan Haas are 34-2 over the past three seasons, going (9-1), (12-1) and (13-0) in winning three straight District Championships, one State Runner-Up, and now the BIG one!
Thank you greatly to the fans that traveled and supported the team all year, to the coaches we are blessed with, to the parents and HHS alumni, and of course to our wonderful, wonderful players!
What fine young players - and what fine young men!
