Hemingford FFA Members Attend National Western Stock Show
On Sunday January 15th fifteen members of the Hemingford FFA took a two day trip to the Denver Stock Show. Members in attendance were able to watch cattle shows, see demonstrations and agricultural displays, attend a Wild West show and watch a rodeo. Each year the students choose to go to Denver or Rapid City for the two day trip. While there members were able to interact with educational displays and see exhibits ranging from Native American cultures to Space Flight. All in all the members gained great exposure to many things they wouldn’t normally see in Hemingford. For some members this was their first trip out of the state of Nebraska. Funds for attending were gained through the FFA’s annual fruit sales.
