Junior High Cats Finish Undefeated Season

Four Wins in the Book !

The Junior High Bobcat football team finished an undefeated season last
Thursday night at Bobcat field hosting the Crawford rams.  Leading the
cats to victory was Ethan Skinner with a culmination of four touchdown
runs and one two point conversion.  Brady Turek managed to find the end
zone once as did Colt Foster.  Mathew Wood carried the ball in four two
point attempts but only managed to score on three of them.  During the
last seconds of the game Asa Carlson managed to scamper the ball a
whopping 45 yds evading three tackles and scoring the final points to end
the game with a score of 56-22.

Just the Saturday before the Cats travelled to Hay Springs and played a
solid Hawk team.  They were short on numbers but did have a few fast
players.  Skinner, Turek and Wood found the end zone as a comforting place
to be with the final score ending 42-12.

Coaches comments: “Overall it was a very great season for the boys where both the older
players and younger players got to see ample play time.  We have seen a
lot of positive development in these young men and can’t wait to watch
them move on and play at the next level.”

Coaches this year were Mr. Olson and Mr. Cooksley
