Cross Country Gering Meet Results 2010

Our first meet of this year was held in Gering on Friday, September 3. Due to homecoming events scheduled we only had four runners competing in this meet.
Two Junior High runners competed and they both finished with times of 13:03.Cody Laursen finished 19th and Tyrell Cotant finished 20th. They both ran well as the 10th place finisher's time was 12:15.
In the Girls Novice Division, Ana Gibbons finished 35th with a time of 24:17. She competed very well.
In the Girls Varsity Division, Briley Hannaford received a medal for her 9th place finish with a time of 16:53. She competed extremely well.
We are looking forward to next week's meet when the Cross Country teams will compete in Kimball on Friday, September 10th beginning with the Junior High race at 2:00 p.m. If we are able to get everyone cleared, this will be the first year in several that we will be able to compete as a team in both the Girls and Boys divisions.
