Homecoming Week 2010

Color Our World

by Staff

Homecoming week 2010 has been a unique one. First, the week itself is being held in conjunction with our first volleyball and football games, as well as our first Cross Country meet. This became the prime week, since both the football and volleyball teams have home games. Normally, Homecoming is in the middle or at the end of the season.

Coronation that featured new Homecoming Queen and King Baily Wood and Jose Campos was held earlier in the week than usual, so the royalty could rule during the entire homecoming week.

The costumes and colors that are part of the festivities once again add spirit and unity to our hallways, and the games and activities are also very positive. On Wednesday afternoon there will be Olympic games, and Class Color Day, with Thursday "Hippie" or "Cowboy" day. Thursday, Mitchell comes to the HHS gym for volleyball, starting at 5PM, with C,B, and A team matches. Friday will feature float building, the parade, the pep rally, the football game against visiting Banner County moved to a 6PM starting time, followed by our 2010 Homecoming Dance.
