Peace Poster Contest 2009

The Hemingford fifth and sixth grade students recently took part in the International Peace Poster contest sponsored by the Alliance Lions Club. This year's theme was "The Power of Peace."
The contest emphasizes the importance of world peace for young people everywhere.
This year's local winner was Chase Lucas. His poster will advance on the district level and then on the state and international rounds if it is selected. (So unfortunately, we do not have Chase's poster to show)
This year's second place went to Cody Laursen, and third place to Johnny Manning. Honorable mention awards went to Cole Walters, Jacob Horstman, and Levi Clouse.
