Successful Summer School

This year we had another successful year at summer school. We had over 60 students total attend. Our average was around 50 the first week, slowly dropping to around 35-40 the third week. Summer school was for students in grades preschool to 8th grade.
We offered an incentive program this year to encourage students to continue attending through the third week. Students that attended thirteen or fourteen days of school received 1/3 sheet of carnival tickets to the Box Butte County Fair. We had several students who made it all fifteen days! These lucky students received an entire sheet of carnival tickets to the fair.
