Bonfire, Car Smash, and Tuesday Dress-Up

Monday night the Hemingford Student Council staged a bonfire and car smash at the fairgrounds. Student-Athletes from all three fall sports had spirited words to share with the audience.
Members of the Hemingford Volunteer Fire Department watched over the fire after lighting it, and also lit the “H” on fire to close the pep rally.
The designated smash car was painted in festive Ram colors and many students took a whack.
Patriotism and a look back to ages ago was the Tuesday dress-up theme. Painted faces in red, white, and blue were in fashion, and there were ladies in waiting and knights as well.
Wednesday will bring another day of dress-up activities, followed by the parade, ballgames, and a dance Thursday.
