Law Day

Have you ever considered a career in law? This was the question asked of the fifth grade students when they took a short field trip to the County Court House in Alliance. Judge Brian Silverman led a discussion about various court activities including what it takes to become a lawyer and a judge. The students had the opportunity to participate in a mock trial, being a judge, prosecuting attorney, defense attorney, court reporter, witness, defendant, and jury. Many questions were asked and answered by Judge Silverman. The morning was very informative and enjoyed by all the students.
