Curriculum Objectives
This is just a quick outline of our curriculum objectives that the students learn in the different content areas.
Reading - students are beginning to read for comprehension. They are finding the beginning, middle, and end of a story. The students are identifying the elements of a story (characters, setting, problem, solution). Students are beginning to work on expression and fluency when they read. These skills are taught and practiced during shared reading and guided reading.

They are writing on lined paper attaining to the head line, the mid line and the base line when forming letters. Last they are writing stories that contain 3-5 sentences focusing on conventions, voice and idea from the 6-Trait Writing Model.
