2008 Dime Carnival: A Success!

by Robyn Prochazka

December 05, 2008

Imagine excited children running around with faces lit up in amazement! Laughter, music, joyful students, and excited sixth graders took over the Middle School modular during the annual Middle School Dime Carnival. The 6th graders had loads of fun while learning how to manage kids at the same time. Several sounds filled the air as the students filed into the rooms of fun.

The klink, klink, klink of the bowling ball trying to knock down the pins, the bounce and swish of the basketball as it went through the hoop, the starting and stopping of music at the cookie walk, and the squeals of glee when a prize was won could be heard throughout the day.

A special thank you to Pastor Jeri of the Methodist Church for the games, Bob and Lisa Haas for the Plinko game, Mrs. Giorgi for the bowling game and bean bag toss, James Robb for the football game, Layne Huss for the basketball game, and to all the students and teachers, K-5, for your attendance and support of this year’s Dime Carnival
