Christmas Break Begins the 21st

The first semester of 2007-2008 is coming to an end! Students and staff will take a Christmas break beginning Friday, December 21st, at 1PM. There have been some activities re-scheduled because of weather postponements that same day and evening, but final tests, projects, and all other assignments will be “in the books” at 1PM.

Our second semester begins on Monday, January 7th, with a full day of classes. Everyone is encouraged to work their hardest not only to finish the first semester with a flourish, but to kick off the second half of our school year with their best efforts.
Working together as hard as we can right when we get back in January will help to prevent falling behind in class assignments and study time for exams. It is so much more difficult to try to climb out of that hole after a few days of not completing work than just getting it done as you go.

Parents, students, and staff are encouraged to keep line of communication open throughout the year. It is never too late to start, there is never a question too silly to ask, and even if a person has a bad effort, we can all redouble our efforts the next day.
