WOW What a GAME!

The Jr. High girls basketball team played two "on the edge of your seat" games Tuesday night in the Bobcat Gym against the local St. Agnes Crusaders.  The first game was lost by two, after coming from a 10 point deficit in the 3rd quarter.  The second game was sent into over time after Sammy Huss made the short shot off of a rebound at the BUZZER!  In a 3 minute overtime the Bobkittens played like no other and won it by two to please the fans in the stands.  A GREAT night of basketball was had by all.

Next chance to watch these talented bunch of ladies will be at home again Thursday, December 6th at 4:00 p.m. against the Bridgeport Bulldogs.

Thank you to the parents and friends that write to comment on our stories on the website. Our teachers and coaches are responsible for providing information, scores, and pictures in many cases. Mrs. Kim Haas wrote this story and took the pictures. Her gift of photo-taking and her quick submission of a story is appreciated!

What a fun night. Best $2.00 I've spent in a long time for over two hours of entertainment. Plus I got to enjoy delicious buffalo wings at TJ's afterwards! Please note the final score of the second game was Hemingford 36, St. Agnes 34 in overtime. There was a misprint above listing the St. Agnes score at 24 (been there, done that, believe me!) My compliments on the Hemingford Schools web site. The staff does a nice job of promoting the kids, their activities and accomplishments!
