Dime Carnival--A Hit!

Imagine untamed children running around with faces lit up in excitement! Laughter, music, joyful kids, and excited sixth graders took over the Middle School modular during the annual Middle School Dime Carnival. While raising over $200 for this year’s field trip, the 6th graders had the time of their lives and learned how to manage kids at the same time. When everyone heard that it was “Dime Carnival Day”, his or her face lit up. Several sounds filled the air as the students filed into the rooms of fun.
The klink, klink, klink of the bowing ball trying to knock down the pins, the bounce and swish of the basketball as it went through the hoop, the starting and stopping of music at the cookie walk, and the screams of glee when a prize was won could be heard throughout the day.
A special thank you to Pastor Jeri of the Methodist Church for the games, Bob and Lisa Haas for the Plinko game, Mrs Giorgi for the bowling game and bean bag toss, and to all the students, K-5, for your attendance and support at this year’s Dime Carnival.
