Student Council Highlights –As well as sponsoring a dance, they hosted National Assemblies, repaired the school parking lot, and donated money to the Mike Lliteras Memorial Fund.

National Honor Society Members – President – Mike Golka; VP – Mary Ann Wood; Secretary – Rod Uhrig, Treasurer – Christy Planansky; Pat Delsing, Tim Brost, Pat Wacker

Music Department – Director Joan Longmore instructed the high school band and the HHS pep band. The Mixed chorus, mixed ensemble, the girls’ sextet, boys’ octet were directed by Frank Brigham.

Drama and One Acts – “Why I Am A Bachelor”, “Impromptu”, “The Mouse That Roared” were the three plays presented during the school year and directed by Mr. Lyle Fodnes.

Football – Mr. Larry DeWees and Mr. Paul Zelenka made it possible for the Cats to progress through the season with a final record of 3 wins and 5 losses.

Volleyball – Mrs. Duane Knaub and the varsity girls triumphed with a record of 9-0 for the season.

Cross Country –

Girls Basketball – The girls worked under the leadership of Coach Duane Knaub.

Boys Basketball – Coaches DeWees and Zelenka lead the cagers to their 8-13 season record.

Wrestling – Coach Larry Schnell and the HHS Grapplers end the season with a 7-6 record.

Girls Track and Field –

Boys Track and Field – Coach Paul Zelenka and his Bobcat squad were up against rough competition.

Golf –The five golfers were sponsored by Mr. Donald Hanks.

Clubs and Activities – FHA, GAA, Science Club, Pep Club, Cheerleading, H-Club
