Peace Poster Winners

International Peace Poster Contest

Hemingford Middle School Students recently took the opportunity to enter an International Peace Poster Contest sponsored by the Alliance Lions Club.  The contest emphasized the importance of world peace for young people everywhere.

This year's theme was "Celebrate Peace."  Nicole's poster was selected as the first place poster for our district and it will advance to the multiple district, state, and international rounds if selected.  Alan Danbom was present to acknowledge our winners:  Nicole, first place;  Brady, second place; and Blake and Paige, honorable mention.
