Kindergarten Reaches Their Goal of 100 Books Read For Classrooms Who Care

On September 12th, Mrs. Lanik's Kindergarten Class started the Classrooms Care Program through the Scholastic Book Club.  The Classrooms Care Program is a program that encourages classes to read 100 books both inside and outside of the classroom.  Each class tracks their progress by coloring in a letter on a tracking poster for each book read.  When a class reaches their goal of 100 books read, Scholastic donates 100 books to children in need of books in the classes honor.

On October 4th, Mrs. Lanik's class met their goal of 100 books read!  The kindergartners were so excited to be able to help students in need.
